MRP creates directly purchase requisition

Hi gurus

I need to maintain the MRP group field (field MARC-DISGR) for the material type Z104 in order to have the choice of creation of purchase requisition or requirement for each material instead to have it at material type level.

Where can I set this?

If MRP creates requisitions or planned orders is dependend on the settings made in MRP run itself and based on procurement indicator specified in your material masters.

If procurement indicator at MRP view 2 is X then SAP cannot know from where to source (internal or external), in this case it can only create planned orders.

Based on the settings made in the material type, the procurement indicator field is open for maintenance or display only with a default value.
