Hi all,
I am working on Proxy to JDBC scenario.
After triggering the data from SAP,i have checked in SAP sxmb_moni.....it is giving error ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED error code:400.
I checked HTTP destination in SAP system by using SM59.First time by clicking connection test it is giving error as ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED.After that i checked again then it is not giving any error(working fine).if again after some time i checked then it is ging error first, next it is working...........I dont know why it is fluctuating like this....Iam getting error for production system where as dev working fine.
Recently IP addresses of XI systems(dev and production). have been changed.after only iam getting this error.
Development is working fine...no issues but its happening in production.
any ideas......

Hi,
1) Check whether the target Server is Up & running
2) check whether you have activated all services in SICF-sapu2014xi-
3) And also check that the user is having the proper authorizations to make the HTTP connection call

Dear seshagiri,
Target(XI System) is running fine.many interfaces are running fine(non sap - non sap).
all service are activated in sicf->xi.
User is having all authorisations
i have tried to connect XI development system with the same sap system...its working fine.
Port also running fine in SMICM.
I have added one property in SXMB_ADM of SAP R/3 system, QUEUE_RESTART_ALLOWED,so the message first failing but again its restarting and data is processing.thing is first time why it is giving error......
Iam suspecting that problem is in XI system only as there is no issue with dev box.
Thanks,
Sreedhar Goud

Adding the Entry in ADM is not a problem
then check with the XI PRD server Details only. there might have some thing went wrong

Hi Gangaprasad,
i have some confusion with this service number.I have given as 8000 because erlier we have used the same one.
But i have tried to test connection without giving any service number with xi development box,Then also it has worked fine.
How can we find this service number...please let me know.
Thanks,
Sreedhar Goud.
Hi Sreedhar,
Finally, i can suggest you
1) Delete the RFC Destination of type H and re-create
2) And relect the same Dest in SXMB_ADM entry while configuring the Local IE
While creating the HTTP Destination
1)Give the Target Host as Either IP os Hostname
2) Service No of XI Server--Find out via SMICM
3)Path Prefix as /sap/xi/engine/?type=entry
4) provide the Correct logon Details with the user which is having the propper Authoz
5)Make sure that all the Services r running in the SICF

Hi Sreedhar,
I have entered the new ip of xi in sap r/3 system already, but no use.
I doubt if you have already made an entry in the host file at location
C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc the drive in which your OS is installed.
If you havent then do this in R/3 system
to make a new entry write the new IP and press tab then write the host name.
Thanks!
Dear All,
Thank you very much for ur replies.
Issue got resolved.Actually the problem is with router.
The default router was not added erlier in Production box.We have added that router, its working fine now.
Thank you very for ur valuable replies.
Thanks,
Sreedhar Goud.

Hi,
As you told that XI's IP Address has neen changed ,
Just make an Entry in the Hosts File of SAP R/3 OS level with the changed IP of Xi server
This time shld give success
