Anyone know if there is a tool or utility that can scan through a coupld of hundred .rpt files and look if a certain database field is used in any of them?
See list of such tools here: http://kenhamady.com/productlinks/default.html#doc

Hi Anders,
If you modify my parameter test app to load a collection of reports you can use the "Fields used in the report" to get a list of them. It's in the drop down list on the right...
Or since it's only 200 you can use it as is and just copy the info into a text file.

Thanks all! Right now, time is limited so the less I have to code on this, the better. The C# app gives me all the info, but I need to access file by file. Looking at Report Runner Documentor by Jeff-Net (Free) now.
