LTA - India 2 exemption only allowed

Hi SAP gurus,

I have configured the LTA payments through Off-cycle & LTa exemption through infotype 0582.

The issue is ,

As the Lta exmption is allowed only 2 times in a block of 4 years, The exemptions after considering the 2 exemptions should not be considered..

But here it is considering for LTa exemption,

Kindly guide me through how to restrict the number of exemptions in the block of 4 years ?

check V_T511K

V_T511P check the constants

and check V_T7INA9 once

the constants are updated as follows.

LTABG LTA Slab Begin Year 01.01.2006 31.12.2009 2,006.00

LTAEN LTA Slab End Year 01.01.2006 31.12.2009 2,009.00

LTAEX Number of exempt journeys 01.01.1998 31.12.9999

2.00

See LTAEX is given as 2 , then also it is going for 3rd exemption

V_T511P doest not have any constant for LTA

V_T7INA9 is also properly updated (eligibility & Calculation table)

checked the Table T7INT9 ,

I have checked with Tax exemption with Rule based as well as limit based...

and the frequency as annual...

Yes 2 records already exist for LTA Exemption in 0582

still it is allowing me the 3 entry with Self travelled indicator ticked.........and is considering for tax exemtpion....

The absence type is also mapped in the table V_T7INL1

Any Suggestions,

Hi Sikander / Raj,

Thanks a lot for your help,

I was not using the Trip/Exem Count field in the 0582 exemptions infotype....

I was under the impression that it is used when LTA is taken in the same financial year in 2 installments....

Now when i am using it , it is not allowing the 3 rd entry...

I refered the note 533182 for help.

I am closing this thread, Please reply if am doing the process wrong or you have anything to add

check all constant LTABG,LTAEN,LTAEX IN V_T511K

ltaex should be two.
