Cart created but not exits in SRM

Hi Experts,

I have a strange case... customer created carts and given me that cart number but that cart does not exists in SRM.... so customer created 2 more carts after first cart... but those carts also does not exists in SRM....

can any you give some inputs why such strange thing happened....

any input are appreciated

Hi ,

please check whether you have the ADMIN role to check the shopping cart. -

I.e Monitor Shopping cart then only other person shopping cart can be seen by you. Once shopping cart is created definitely it will be in SRM

I experienced the exact same situation just today. We're in SRM 5.0, n-step workflow, SP11 and as some users were testing, they are taking a long time to build their cart (3-4hrs to complete the cart) and submit it. I have screenshoot showing me the cart #, but when we are going in the tabled...nothing is there.

I know that the system allocate a number for the Shopping Cart right when you are starting to create it, so is there any time stamp that would be attached to this, so if you spend few hours (in our case, was more than 3 hrs) to complete the cart, the "number" reserved is not valid anymore?

Hi Sam,

I also experieced when i created a limit sc without entering any item data and i hold the card but i could see the entry in BBP_PD as held status .I have run from pillar to post in srm like monitor sc/ check status .no where i could not find that cart still i am searching the cart .no luck.it is very funny but when i created an another cart with item data in limit sc and hold the card. I could find the cart in check status. I let you know if i get any reason for that why some carts are missing ..

I faced the same problem in another scenario...

Our suppliers created ASN (MM-SUS) ,,, system generted the ASN number but when we check the same number in BBP_PD .. the ASNs were not found.

After some study ,, we concluded that ,, this is due to improper functioning of Application server.

This happens randomly...i hope the case would me same with you guys also...

Please check with Admin team,,, and do some analysis with the time of SC creation... and server performance etc...

i have checked..... cart dosen't exits..but customer has provided SC number.....

Hi,

If the shopping cart doesn't exists in the table entry (CRMD_ORDERADM_H) as well in the BBP_PDi don't think the customer couldn't raised any cart.

I think the user should be given the invalid cart number.

Check with the user

It must be there . check in CRMD_ORDERADM_I table or BBP_PD

You can trace. How did you say it was not existing? How are you searching the card?
