Thanks,
Srikanth.
Hi Shrikanth,
Why are you giving path for the 4 CD's. It will never be recognized. One CD/DVD will be of EXE type. Extract that in a single folder and give path of that folder. No need to extract all the cd's.
Copy all your CD's in a single folder and than extract one of the main CD''S. It will extract all the CD"S itself. And you can use that folder for your installation.
It will help you.

Hi Srinkanth,
4.6C can be installed with Oracle 9 with EXT kernel but if you want to install Oracle 9i with your r3inst it wont accept DVD. Best thing is you manually install Oracle before launching R3inst. Installation can be directly done by creating oracle stage directory and uncar all SAR files with the help of SAPCAR to stage directory and compelte oracle installation.
Thanks,
Kiran.

HI,
Did you read the note which I provided?
Replace '817' with '920' in the documentation (for example, the home directory for Oracle is called /oracle/<DBSID>/920_32 or _64 instead of /oracle/<DBSID>/817_32 or _64).
You can install R3 4.6C with Oracle 9i but 4 RDBMS CD is required.
You need to download 4 RDBMS CD from service.sap.com

kaushal
is it looking for patch CD? there is no database CD4 on marketplace, could you please provide patch cd as 4 then retry your installation?
