Extractor 2LIS_13_VDHDR not pulling enough Records

We recently refreshed our ECC Source System from production. We did not refresh target BW QA System. When I tried to extract a full load from source I was able to extract only 31 records when there are around 6 million billing header records in ECC. There is no pre-existing delta queues in the system.

What is preventing me from getting all the records? What I need to do resolve this issue?

I am concerned that same thing might happen with other SD extractors also.

Hi Suresh,

Have you filled the setup tables for particular application ?

If not, Please first fill the setup table and then reinit the data in BW.

I was planning to do that last night but wanted to make sure first.

Would please tell what is the best way of filling set up tables?

I was planning to use transactions OLI7BW/OLI8BW/OLI9BW.

Or if you know of any How To doc that would help also.

Another question: should we check the 'simulation extr. str.' while filling the tables?

For 2lis_13_vdhdr, you have to fill setup table using OLI9BW.

No need to check 'simulation extr. str.' option.

What happens if we have ABAP Code in the extractor exit? What if we have enhancements to the extractor in ECC?

With Simulation checked job was taking longer and failed due to memory issues but it went through successfully without the simulation flag.
