Dear Experts,

I have created a hyperlink in the BPF step which takes the user to SAC. I have used external url and mentioned the SAC url.

It asks for login for SAC, if there a way we can use the same BPC login with SAC.

Thanks,

Rohit

Hi Rohit,

We do not support SSO between BPC / SAC at the moment.

Does your BPC system use SSO?

But why do you think that BPF URL will pass login and password to SAC???

Hi Tammy,

BPF is a Business Process flow used for a user to follow a sequence of steps to perform the activities. Each step in BPF can be linked to an EPM Add-in Excel Interface or Data Manager Package or external URL etc.

I have read in the internet that the SAP BPC can act as a source for the SAP Analytics for Cloud to consume the data. I did this by creating a Model with a connection to on premise BPC system. As SAP Analytics for Cloud cannot replace the SAP BPC, so I am curious to know if we can leverage some functionalities of SAC and BPC together. For instance the Run Simulation or Predictive Forecast etc. in SAC, if there is a link from BPC for a user to access the SAC that would be a helpful.

Thanks,

Rohit
