Translation option is disabled

Hi gurus,

When I go to transaction SM30. In the menu bar Goto -> Translation option is disabled for some of the tables.

What is the reason behind this?

Translation is only available when there is something translatable at all.

I guess the system "knows" by the presence or non-presence of a language type key field in the table or view.
