Hi All,

while trying to import Std.app from ABAP repository we are getting error: "Access denied to resource /sap/bc/adt/discovery on ABAP system. in case this was valid request, ensure to expose the request correctly in your cloud connector".

I can confirm that Discovery XML file also we are able to download and ADT service is activated in SICF.

below services are added in Cloud Connector

/sap/bc/adt
/sap/bc/bsp
/sap/bc/ui2
/sap/bc/ui5_ui5
/sap/opu/odata

Please help me out by providing the information.

thank you,

Kiran

Please take a look at the network trace when you do the import and locate the failed request.
Then copy here the request URL and the exact response you get.

You can also attach a screenshot of your Cloud Connector and Destination configuration.

Regards,
Michal.

Hi all,

did you check if the path https://<host>/sap/bc/adt/ was added correctly to the accessible resources in the Cloud Connector and the correct access policy applied?

I had the same error message when I first tried to establish a connection. Adding the correct URL path and access policy to the accessible resources fixed the problem.

Regards, Thomas

Please follow the requirements mentioned in the documentation, and also check whether the Protocol in the Cloud Connector should be HTTPS instead of HTTP.

Hi Thomas,

please find the attached image for Cloud Connector access control details. confirm me whether the entries are correct or not.

but when we checked the system status it is reachable and in Green colour Check Results and Status.

access-control-resource.png

I request you Masayuki Sekihara Tejas Chouhan Michal Keidar Midhun VP help me on this please.

From the WebIDE developer Guide as i understand UI5_731, UI_INFRA are to be available in the ABAP system if Requirements for Connecting to ABAP Systems, please find the links below.

SAP Web IDE Developer Guide under 4.2.1

Requirements for Connecting to ABAP Systems

when BASIS team installing these components, what they here from SAP is UI5_731 release 200 is enough no need of UI-INFRA to connect the ABAP system to WebIDE.

Can you please guide/confirm me on this ASAP.

Thank you,

Kiran.

just spotted it now in your access-control-resource.png, there is a mistake in the specified paths it should be /sap/bc/adt instead of /sab/bc/adt.

Hi Kiran,

is the access policy on cloud connector set to "Path and all sub-paths" for /sap/opu/odata/ ? could you please send a screenshot of your latest CC configuration and Destination Configuration of your SAP CP? What kind of authentication are you using for the configured destination?

The sap-client entry goes into the Destination Configuration on your SAP CP Account.

Hi @Thomas Wecker

Yes we corrected it thanks for correcting us.

after correcting i am getting same error when i am testing the application from Web IDE, URL like below

https://webidetesting0801406-p trial.dispatcher.hanatrial.ondemand.com/sap/opu/odata/sap/ _SRV/EntitySet?$filter=Iproperty%20eq%20X

Error : Access denied to resource /sap/opu/odata/sap/<ZName>_SRV/<Entity>Set on system <Virtual Host>:<Virtual Port>. In case this was a valid request, ensure to expose the resource correctly in your cloud connector.

Regarding sap-client, can you please help with some details like where to add and how to add.

Thank you, i will be waiting for your help.
