I have a requirement to update the completed transactions from Lead, Opportunity, Order etc in CRM and then billing documents in ECC. This is as part of retrofit effort and to enable BI to prepare reports. Some of Marketing attributes of the customer will be retrieved based on custom logic and then update at the header level of the business transaction. I am concerned there will be negative impact of updating for example some documents may not update due to system restrictions and what will happen to the status of the documents updated
