Hi,

Can any body send useful links for learning about SAP Enhancements and related documentation in APO?

How to find relevant enhancements, step by step procedure for implementing enhancements?

Guys,

I have few more questions regarding enhancements in APO.

The links you provided are more into the techical side....I am a functional consultant looking for more detailed functional information related to the enhancments available in SMOD transaction. In SMOD if i select documentation radio button, I can get some information, but is there any other place where I can get more detailed information like scope of the each enhancement, scenarios where we can use that enhancement, if possible with examples...can i get this info in service market place or help.sap.com...if so, can any body please send the links?

Also you can refer FM documentation.

Go to SMOD enter user exit like APOCF005 than enter .

Click on component than you can see Function module :EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_PROD_001.

Double click on EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_PROD_001 it will take you to SE37 screen than in menu go to -> Documentation.

You can goto SPRO and under each area (APO >> Supply Chain Planning >> PPDS >> Enhancements / Business Add Ins) look for the available enhancement objects. Against each Enhancement object there is a bit of documentation avaialble.

This should be a good starting point.

In SMOD for few enhancements, after going into the function module details, if I go to documentation, I am getting a message indicating "Document EXIT_SAP..............." is not available in language EN, then I logged off of SAP System and relogged in without specifying language code in the logon screen, still I got the same message, in those cases, can you tell me how to get the documentation info?

For some FM like EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_PU_001(APOCF006) there is no documentation available ,system is giving message " Document EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_PU_001 is not available in language EN". I check in German (DE) also it is not availabe.

For those FM please check Documentation by other methods as mentioned above.
