Load Balancing in XI

Hello,

We are adding web dispatcher in xi landscape.

I have some http requests coming to integration server.

The hostname used in the url is sapxis.

The web dispatcher is installed on sapwd.

Do I need to change the http url in application systems?

Yes you need to change the URL

A Web Dispatcher at sapwd can forward HTTP requests. It also gets current load information from the message server to identify instances with lower load. This causes no additional network load and is the pre-ferred solution if using several Web AS instances. Logon groups can be used to control the distribu-tion.
