Change the password of Active Directory's user from portal

Hello Experts,

we use Active Directory to store our users..

With standard iviews like "User Profile" and "Identity Management" (from User Administration role) is possible to change ONLY the password of UME's users.

If an user is in Active Directory is possible to change his password form portal ??

We need an iview that manages the change of password for user in Active Directory..

Does it exist??

Best Regards

    Hello Allesandro,

It would depend on if you have write access to your Ldap itself. Most cases it would be read only access.

Also there isnt any iview out of the box for this .

If your Ldap has write access then maybe you could develop a custom iview with API's.

But why would you need this feature, adminstering the user through AD itself seems to be

    quite the recommended approach .

    Rgds
