Planning without assembly --MD04

Hi all

can any one tell me ,I want " Planning without assembly " segment on MD04 screen .

How it will come ?

I am maintaing strategy '70" in material master and mix indicator 1 but it is not comming .

plz guide me

Dear,

Normally whenever we use planning at assembly level strategy there are two options

first one : Fert or higher level should consume the requirement this is possible if u use mixed indicator 1

Second one: Fert or higher level should not consume the requirement this is possible if u use mixed indicator

Strategy 70: Planning at Assembly level

Prerequisite:

1.Strategy group 70 for components

2. Mixed MRP indicator 1 in Mrp 3 view

3. If necessary consumption parameters.

4.Set the ind / collective indicator 2 if you are using this strategy in a MTS environment.

Flow:

1. PIR's are consumed by production order reqmts and not by sales order reqmts.

2. Pir's are created for the components.

3. Production is triggered before the production order stage..

ie planned orders are convertible.

4.Reqmts type VSFB and Reqmts class 105.

5.Production order that uses the components is created.

6.After order creation any parent material that consists of this components is automatically allocated to the plan.

7.Procurement after prodn is not possible.

8.Goods issue for production order.

Dear both

I am maintaining strategy group 70 on component lavel and mix indicator 1 but that segment 'Planning without assembly (blue color line)' is not comming on MD04 .

how it will come or wht setting i am missing in material master? or wht condition it will come ?

Hi,

Check the requirement type for demand which you are created in MD62 tcode.

Strategy 70 is Planning at assembly level.

Strategy 50 planning w/o final assembly.

How you can expect planning w/o final assembly with strategy70 ?

HI,

Maintain strategy 50 . It is planning w/o final assembly. Maintain mixed MRP3 in MRP3 view & maintain Individual indicator in MRP4 view of material master.
