number ranges for inspection type

Can you please tell me how to create a new number range for a inspection type and how to assign to an inspection type

HI

goto QA09

click on change intervals and enter your required number ranges.

the serail number wich was defined in number range has to give in the Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types

Quality Management>Quality Inspection>Inspection Lot Creation-->Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types

Inspection lot origin 01-->number range serial number 01(i.e defined in number ranges)

in the same way for other lot origins repeat

Goto Spro---->Qm>Quality Inspection>Inspection lot creation

--->Maintain No ranges.

here u can assign the no range for the inspection types.
