Desktop inner page invisible in the portal default framework.

Hi All,

By mistake I have 'unchecked' the "visible" check box in the desktop inner page of the portal default framework page.

Now since I do not see the inner page at all, I am not able to browse to the default framework page, open it and 'check' the visible property of the inner page back...

I can only see the masthead, tools area and the top level navigation but no inner page.

Could anyone please help?

Regards,

Anagha

Hi,

There is one way to Solve your problem,

there is a way to access all the properties of the PCD Objects.

Try to access the PCD Object DefaultFrameWorkPage from the path specified by others as above via PCD semantic Objects,

Once you completed the lookup for the PCD object then we can access all the properties of that purticular PCD object.

For sample code for accessing PCD objects refer to this link.

Try this Solution

Hope this will be helpful,

Hi Anagha,

Unchecking the Visible property will make the Innerpage invisible at runtime and not in the framework. But still if you are not able to find it, then you can take a copy of the original standard default framework.

In case you have made the changes in standard default framework, then you can create the same from Default Page template available under

PCD > Content Provided by SAP > Admin Interfaces > Admin Page Templates > Default Page Template.

Once created, add the I Views (Content Area, Detailed Navigation,etc..available under PCD > Content Provided by SAP > Admin Interfaces > Admin I View Templates ) to this page.

It can be also created using the api com.sap.portal.innerpage

Hi Santosh,

I do not see anything other than the top level navigation. If I select the content admin role, I see nothing. This is because the inner page is not visible at all. Hence I can not see the PCD and go to the path you have suggested.

Thanks for responding,

Hi Anagha,

I got the problem. You have done the changes on the standard framework which is not recommended.

Login with an Administrator Id in the below given link to go to the PCD directly and revert your changes.

http://<FQDN>/irj/portal?NavigationTarget=ROLES://portal_content/administrator/super_admin/super_adm...

Where <FQDN> is the <Portal IP:Port>
