Refresh/trigger in sequence

Xcelsius 4.5

The dashboard contains one list box and 4 web services buttons.

When the value in the list box changes, it triggers the 4 web service queries.

my customer would like to manage the order in which the queries are triggered (list box triggers WS1 then WS2 is triggered which then triggers WS3 ....)

How can you monitor this as you can only bind one cell as a trigger cell?

Any ideas around this?

Many thanks

jenni Jacob

    Hi Jenni,

You can try having each web service connection trigger after it's preceding web service connection.

For example, I have 3 Web Services: each of them inserting into only 1 cell:

1.) List Box inserts a value into A1.

2.) Web Service 1 is triggered through a value change in A1, and then inserts its output value into A2.

3.) Web Service 2 is triggered through a value change in A2, and then insert a value into A3.

4.) Web Service 3 is triggered through a value change in A3, then insert a value into A4.

Likewise, if one of the components doesn't insert anything into the trigger cells, the chain will break, and all dependent connections will not trigger.

    Hope that helps,
