Document conversion

Hi All,

I want to practice original conversion application (ex. DOC to TXT) etc.

Is it necessary to install conversion server? Is there any SAP standard available?

If yes how can I achieve this, I know the procedure for document conversion but I have struck with conversion server installation. Waiting for all yours response.

Here you will find all necessary information to customize the main settings for your conversion in DMS.

Under the following link you can download sample files for setting up a converter:

ftp://sapserv3/general/misc/converter

However please note that this is just a sample and for detailed complex conversion you would need to get a professional conversion server.

Can't get the FTP URL to work. Is there any other way to get the files?

I'm in a desperate need of this converter. I'm going to demo the functionality next week and it doesn'e look good right now.
