Document conversion

Hi All,

I want to practice original conversion application (ex. DOC to TXT) etc.

Is it necessary to install conversion server? Is there any SAP standard available?

If yes how can I achieve this, I know the procedure for document conversion but I have struck with conversion server installation. Waiting for all yours response.
