We are creating a new Landscape. we had installed Solution manager 7.0 in local SLD. Now while installing ERP6.0 will i have to install in existing SLd or local SLD. what will be the diffence?
Hello Kishore,
You can create a new SLD and making Solution manager as part of it. As you have already created Local SLD I think you can not include ERP in that SLD.
But if you can create a new SLD while installing ERP 6.0 I am sure you can include solman in new SLD.
The Local SLD will have only the Solman related data and may not support trusting of global systems.
These should be options SMSY_SETUP to change local SLD to global.

Hello Kirshore,
As per your message concern, you have to choose the sld design according to your company norms.
My general idea is , its better to maintain a local sld for each java stack.
If your are going to add ur ERP SLD with existing one , then the system Depends will be more for your solution manager system. Eg : soloman shold not be down until ERP system downs, perfomance should equaly maintain.
So better will be local sld
