Communication Category

Hello together,

I have two questions in reference to Communication Categories:

1. There can be assigned limits to the communication categories (like for example 2 Emails per day, etc.). Does this limit just exists for the same communication category all for all communication categories? Like for example if we assign a communication category to a "normal" e-mail campaign and there exists another one for our E-Mail Newsletter or should we use the same communication category for both scenarios? Another problem is here maybe that there should exist one communication category per newsletter so there will exist always more than one communication category in a company.

2. If there is assgined a communication category to a campaign than the subscriptions to that comunication category are checked instead of the permission for the channel.

This in my opionion is not correct. Does anybody knows why SAP has designed the system in this way? The problem is, if the customer wants to use a communicaiton category to limit the amount of emails that can be send to the customer that a communication category has to be used. But if the permissions are not checked anymore this is a problem for us and other companies too.
