Include additional infotype in HRMD IDoc

Hi

Would anyone know if it is possible to include a customer defined employee infotype into the HRMD Idoc.

The infotype can be selected via transaction PFAL, but is not included in the output - despite having valid data.

Thanks.

Br.

You need to create an IDOC extension with custom infotypes and assign that to your message type HRMD_A.

Also add the custom infotype in 'Data filter' under HRMD_A in distribution model.

    Thanks!

    Hi

We have already included the infotype in the distribution model.

In addition to the idoc extension, would an enhancement to the idoc FM not be needed?

      Hi John

You are right! SInce you are adding a custome Infotype to the standard IDOC type HRMD_A* you will have to make changes in the FM "IDOC_INPUT_HRMD" to read / write data from the custom infotype.

    Hi

This is an outbound scenario, so activating an enhancement to fill the segment is not needed.

The solutions was to define the "Z" segment and maintaining T777D.

Beware, the segment name must have prefix "Z1" or "Y1".
