Delete approved Leave Request

Hi SAP Experts,

we use the Leave Request application without workflow. We found out that you can define in img whether a Request has to be approved or not. Now we have the demand to delete approved Leave Requests in that way that the manager should not approve the deletion. Is there a customizing point for this (we only find it for the request but not for the deletion)?

dont trigger the WF for the cancellation request ie

WF ID of Cancellation Request 12300111

You dont need to maintain this in table V_T554S_WEB

Actually we use no workflow. Is a workflow mandatory required or is there any other solution that matchs our specifications without using a wf?

Use workflows as I have mentioned.Tht will solve your problem

Hi,

I think removing the tick mark in the check box "Requests have to be approved" will cause that also the Request should not be approved by the Manager. But in our Case the Request should be approved and the deletion not.

Is there a possibility to control this apart?

I hope you are using Workflow 12300111 for approval of leave request.

In that case use 12400007 in the field "WF ID of Cancellation Request"

Go to V_T554S_WEB.

In section "Workflow template" remove the tick mark in the check box "Process Request Using Workflow" and in the section "System Response" remove the tick mark in the check box "Requests have to be approved"
