Duplicate rows problem in spreadsheet in BOBJ Design studio or Lumira?

Is there a way to put a check for duplicate rows in a design studio or Lumira spreadsheet for duplicate rows. Currently the spreadsheet is accepting duplicate rows for the same characteristic combination and adds the value to the old record instead of giving an error.

In BPS excel layouts this was standard functionality. Is there such setting in Deisgn studio input ready layouts too?
