2252019 - Error text from tp: ERROR: Buffer check failed

We are getting the error message "0200 - Buffer check failed" when we try to release a transport in a standalone ECC system pointed to a virtual system as target system.

We read the above note and set CTC=1 (as global ) and redistributed it. Still not luck.

When try the same expchk command at OS level as <sid>adm user it works fine. Ours is a windows environment.

we ran the below commands as <sid>adm tp check all pf=\\<hostname>\sapmnt\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL tp=>sapparam(1c): No Profile used. tp=>sapparam: SAPSYSTEMNAME neither in Profile nor in Commandline This is D:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\tp.exe version 380.44.20 (release 722, unicode enabled) check>Log file is written to \\<hostname>\sapmnt\trans\tmp\CHECK.LOG check>Collected 3 filenames from [\\<hostname>\sapmnt\trans\buffer\.] check>Collected 3 Systemnames from [\\<hostname>\sapmnt\trans\buffer\.] check>Collected 00000 entries from buffers check>Found 0 invalid filenames on Cofile-directory check> check>Found 0 invalid filenames on Datafile-directory check>Found 1 invalid filenames on Logfile-directory check> check>WARNING: <SID>K900593 has status T_STEP_UNKNOWN in sapnames/default_user check>WARNING: <SID>K900599 has status T_STEP_UNKNOWN in sapnames/default_user check>WARNING: <SID>K900571 has status T_STEP_UNKNOWN in sapnames/DJE1119 check>Marked 0 filenames for deletion from tmp-directory older than 365 days check>Elapsed time 0m 0s tp finished with return code: 0 meaning: Everything OK PS C:\Users\<SID>adm.Domain> PS C:\Users\<SID>adm.Domain> tp EXPCHK <SID>K900571 pf=\\<hostname>\sapmnt\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL -Dtransdir=\\hostname\sapmnt\trans tp=>sapparam(1c): No Profile used. tp=>sapparam: SAPSYSTEMNAME neither in Profile nor in Commandline This is D:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\tp.exe version 380.44.20 (release 722, unicode enabled) createinfo succeeded Buffer check succeeded tp finished with return code: 0 meaning: Everything OK PS C:\Users\<SID>adm.Domain> At OS level it says ok, but at se09 when we try to release it says 0200 buffer check failed

Any help is appreciated.
