HRHAP_DOC archiving object getting error " THE ILM switch must be set for the variant Used" ?

Hi Experts,

We are trying to archiving HR: Appraisal Documents through archiving object : HRHAP_DOC but we are unable to open the selection-screen due to below error.

"THE ILM switch must be set for the variant Used"

We checked the Authorizations their is no authorization problem is existed in the system.

so, please suggest us to resolve this error.

Hi,

Object HRHAP_DOC has to be activated in AUDIT Area (transaction ILMARA).

Many thanks for your quick response.

I have gone through the suggested link and have got bit idea on HRHAP_DOC archiving object.

But, unable to activate the business function for ILM switched in SFW5 t-code.

Could you please guide me how to activate ILM switches in SFW5, screenshot would be more helpful.

but there are also other blogs explaining it.

Be careful, many BFs cannot be deactivated, some cost extra licence.

Have you activated the business function for ILM switched on (SFW5) ?
