inventory management with DSO

hello Gurus

i have been reading extensively about inventory management and i find that everywhere there is direct upload to the cube....in my case there is a DSO involved in the dataflow of inventory management..can someone provide me the details as to how to go about things when there is a DSO involved ?? in my case we need to enhance the standard inventory datasources and extract them and then on the BW side we need to update them to the DSO & cubes

Very good doc regarding Inventory, explained both options(loading to a cube and ODS/DSO) aswell.
