Hi,
We are getting error with inbound queues related to purchase orders. /SAPAPO/CQ shows inbound queues are failed with red indicator with "connection closed(no data)" as error text.
My APO<->R/3 rfc connection test is working fine and also I am able get into LCA and find LC operational fine.
I also faced the same error in CIF queue while trying to debug the queue, connections were all good. Tried all the mentioned steps but still getting the same error. Atlast I deleted all the related LUW's are tried again and it worked.

Hi ,
Please check with your BASIS team regarding the dialog work processes for the tRFC/qRFC.
Also check the MAXTIME/NRETRY/TDELAY parameters for the RFC destination.
"Connection closed" is purely technical error because of the insufficient work processes available during the qRFC's (CIF queues) execution.
Check these settings both on R/3 as well as APO side.

First In /SAPAPO/CQ , select that queue queue and activate it by match stick like button.
If it is still there than
In /SAPAPO/CQ , select that queue queue than on the top right side select go to application log.
to get more details of the error than take corrective action as suggested.

Please check the status of CIF queue , it should not be in stop status. If you find queue in stop status than you have to activate CIF queue using OM17 - start CIF queue.
Also check SLG1 application log for details. This will give you details of error log.
Above situation can happen when you shutdown you APO system & disconnect from R/3 for long time. You have to start CIF queue again using OM17.
You can also check setting of CFC2 - queue application log setting & CFC3 queue processing block setting.
Let me know this helps you to resolve issue.
