Delete transportation unit

I need to delete a transportation unit which activity status is set to Completed. I am finding myself unable to delete the TU (in /SCWM/TU) by selecting the line and pressing the delete button. I get an error stating: Deletion not possible due to its Status.

Please advice.

I have a feeling that I need to change its activity status which is now completed to something like for example planned. Unsure though, Im a new user.

Hello Jon,

you can find all information for getting rid of data that are no longer required in the Operations Guide for EWM. You can find it on the service marketplace. The relevant chapter for this topic is 4.5.1 Scheduled Periodic Tasks.

Hi,

why would you want to delete the TU? The standard procedure with anything which is not required anymore (documents or whatever) is to archive it.

That it can not be deleted is probably because it was used in conjunction with a delivery. Once the TU is completed, there is not really anything you can do with it anymore (except archive).
