NWDI / NWDS problem

Hi,

I have the following problem (I'm new to NWDS 7.0).

There's already an existing project and I'm a new developer here so I try to sync the inactive DCs and there are files missing, so I can't build the project. When I sync the active DCs I can not edit the files, the dialog will just tell me I am not able to write on these and I cant check them out (just click cancel). When I delete the local project and sync the inactive DCs, they become synced correctly (at least NWDS says so, but I think it's a bug), when I try to create a project from it, then there are files missing again .. wth

I guess theres something wrong with permissions but I just can't pin down the exact problem.

Hi Stephen,

Did you check any open activiteis and files that are checked-out? Some times these open activites are created by some other developer and left it open and cannot be found. Please find the oepn activites that no longer needed and you have to Revert or delete this activities.

Once you have done this and try to sync the that specific DC and see the missing files issue resolved or not?

thanks that solved it, I looked into it with the repository manager and he could release activities from other developers.

Hi Experts,

I also encountered the same.

After reverting to older source code version, I cannot edit it anymore.

Can you please tell me what things I should look for? Or if necessary ask Basis?

I'm a java developer.

HI,

There is nothing wrong with permissions, these things happens sometime.

If possible remove your project from NWDS, and say create project again.

But before that confirm, wheather the project folder is removed from you .dtc..
