Create Process order without Production Version

Hi gurus, I want to create a process order without Production Version and include operations and materials manually.

For this reason I created a new order type in customizing with new dependement parameters.

Master Recipe Setection: 0 Does not use a master recipe.

But this is not enough to do it because when I create a process order by COR1 with this new order type the system ask me for a Production Version.

What is it wrong?

Hi,

Your requirement was:

Want to select the operations adn Components manually.

You didnit want automatic selection.

In the entire thing which I have explained, I missed one point:

Define applications: OS30..

In this copy the Application of PP01 and create a new like: ZZ01

Assign the SelID 98 or 99 which you have created

SelID creation: Do not select 1, 2 or 3 etc.. bom Usage..

Select BOM Usage as 6 or 7 ..

Now it will be through..

Test this and revert..

Thanks Siva, finally the problem was that I forget to change the selection of production version from 1: Manual Selection of production version to Automatic Selection of production version.

Im having the same situation here, Pl help im still seeing the BOM number under process order master data tab. and components under materials tab because of which I cannot release an order.

Thanks Siva, I did but I am still having the same problem, I think we are not taking into acount something

In OS30 I created a new aplication ZZ01 Assign the SelID 98 ( SelPri: 1, BOM usage: 6) but which indicator has to be fill in? AltSel? ProdVer? ExplMRP? etc..

One question What does it mean: S'elID creation: Do not select 1, 2 or 3 etc'?

Hi,

Remove the Tick for Alt.Det and Prod. versions from OS30.

The BOM Application is a Mandatory field in Dependent parameters, so we need to create an Application, for which you are not having a BOM at any point in time..

That was the reason, I was proposing BOM Usage 6.

In general we use BOM usage as 1 or 2 or 3.

Hi Gurus thanks for the answers but for the moment it does not work properly

When I create the process order system still ask me for the production version, as Prassobh said the material has Explosion/Dependent Requirements define with 3 but I removed and still ask me for the production vesion

A Siva said I create a new application of BOM (OPJI,OPJM) with SELID: 98, SelPr : 1 BOM Uage: 6 and assign this to my Order Type

I Remove Selection ID, Task list type etc.. I Put the production Version to 0..

When system show me production version selection screen If I closed it no recipe is taken (That´s OK) but a BOM is taken, that is the main problem

Javier,

I think you have a simple problem, In the material master MRP4 view under BOM Explosion/Dependent Requirements section define " "(Blank) for Selection Method field for the order material. I think currently for this material it is defined with "2" or "3".

Hi,

In Dependent parameters you need to do the floowing settings..

Routing Selection 0

Remove Selection ID, Task list type etc..

Put the production Version to 0..

For operation:

Remove the Tick for Entry tool,

operation/act. increment.. blank

Now with these settings, System will not ask for Routing

But, if there is no selection for Routing, then system will give you error message and out from the transaction..

So, you need to Crete a dummy operation with the Transaction: OPJG

This should be reference to your new order type.

For BOM:

Create a new BOM Application with OPJI

You can put the settings like this:

SELID: 99, SelPr : 1 BOM Uage: 6

Assign this to your Order Type: Do the Assignment in OS35.

So, do this and revert for further discussion..

Hi,

While defining Dependent parameters for ur Order Type,

You might have opted selection through versions in Selection Id.

Please check that.

Hi,

For Creating Process Order Production Version is mandatory.But if you don't want to use Master Recipe then no Problem, don't assign Routing no. in Production version.During Order creation system will not explode any routing or master recipe but generates one operation automatically.Then you can add or change new Operations and Phases as per your requirement.

Yes ,You have to tick Does not use a Master recipe in Order type Dependent parameter in T.code COR4 - Order Type Dependent Parameter.So that error will not come during order creation.
