Error in Delivery

Dear Sap Gurus,

Material is there in stock, maintained in a particular plant and storage location.

Even in sale order the plant exist, system allows me to save the sale order, no problem.

When i try to do the delivery , after picking, it is not allows me to save the document, System throws the

error message material is not maintained in that particular plant.

Any suggestions please, what will be the possible cause for this error.

Hello,

Go to MM01 --> Input the material --> Select Sales Gen/Plant data , Gen Plant data / Storage1 and storage 2 tabs and give the details and save. The material will be extended to the particular plant and stroage. Now try to create the delivery.

Hi there,

In some cases availability check at delivery is done against storage loc level.

So 1st check what is the storage loc assiged to your shipping point in OVL3. Then in MMBE check the stock availability against that particular storage loc.

Also could be that the stock that you currently see in MMBE is sales order stock, which is reserved for some other orders.

ALso possible that there could be some other open orders for which ths stock is confirmed.

Hi,

1.Have to entered Storage location in the delivery,if not pls. check it and enter.

2.If TO is required for this delievry complete it through LT03.

Extend the material to the storage location . the material master has not been extended to the storage location mentioned in the delivery document

hi,

This error may be bcoz that particular material in not avaliable in that plant, extend the material to the particular plant from where you want to deliver then this error will not come
