How to back date for schedule line date of Consignment Fill-Up

Former Member

Hi,

There are available stock for the material used. In VA01 of order type KB - Consignment Fill-up, I put in a backdated schedule line date (example: 09.09.2008). However, the system automatically proposed a new schedule line date of today's date (example: 13.10.2008).

How can I remain the backdated date with confirmed qty instead of today's date?

Thanks.

Hi Wooi Ling

Why do you want to have a back dated confirmation. you would be able to deliver only as of stcok present as of today.

the date of schedule line is the date on which there is sufficient stock to deliver

therefore system will check only stock for today and give schedule lines

hope this helps

Thanks

Hi Akasha,

Let say the SO was created on 09.09.2008 with the schedule line date of 09.09.2008, at that time, there was insufficient stock. Then, today, there is available stock. So, goto VA02 to confirm on the qty. But I want to maintain the schedule line date as 09.09.2008.

Please advise.

Hi Wooi Ling

when system is not able to confirm the schedule lines, the system would give a proposal date on which the requirement can be met.

in this case ,you can do one thing , you can set the indicator " Fix date and quantity " in the item schedule line. this would fix the date and the quantity for delivery and the schedules lines.

this would also mean the customer accepts the delivery and quantity confirmed by the system, The system then passes on MRP requirements so that the confirmed date and quantity can be met.

hope this helps

thanks

Hi Akasha,

Meaning to say that even the indicator is set, it only means that the customer accepts the delivery and quantity confirmed by the system. It doesn't allow the schedule line date to be backdated, right?

Thanks,

Dear Wooi Ling,

I don't think it is possible because system will give the scheduleline conform date based on the stock availability date so system will not consider backdated schedule line date.

I hope this will help you,
