    Hi

Guided Procedures is still present in CE.

It is not a replacement for GP.Still in some cases GP is needed.

    Both can be used parallely.

But yes, BPM is a new Process management tool which has many new exciting features.

The differance between GP and BPM is that BPM is now a part of NWDS.

You have a new perspective for that in the developer studio. It is available from CE7.1, EHP1.

With BPM we can model the processes very easily.

and for any other information you have a lot of information available in sdn.

    regards,

    Sumangala

Well as the above post menitoned GP is still present. It's just moved out of the Composition Platform installation option and is now a separate installation option. Also you don't get it with an SDN preview installation. I guess the main idea is that BPM should more or less replace GP in the long term.

As SAP is never ramping software down on short notice (customers and partners probably still rely on it) GP will probably be supported for a long time. It's just not a manatory part of CE Composition installation as there seems to be a better option.

    Best regards, dido
