License for EsriMap for Lumira Discovery and Designer?

Hi experts,

we want to build a prototype and would like to know if we need an EsriMap License for Lumira Discovery or Designer or not. I read in a blog that the EsriMaps are provided as prelicensed solutions with Lumira 2.0 but does this mean that we don‘t need licenses for the predelivered 4 EsriMaps?

Also I notice that if I don‘t give an Esri User and try to open a report with EsriMap in Lumira Discovery, then it doesn‘t work. It asks me to switch to offline map.

Can you please let me know?

Thanks,

Regys

Hello Regys - I found a SAP Note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2541716 and it has some work around steps. Would you please review the SAP Note?

The Esri maps are part of Lumira; for more details this is covered in the free OpenSAP course for Lumira - see open.sap.com/courses/lum1

I've used both without the Esri license

"4. Ensure the proxy server settings check box is ticked and the correct proxy server settings are entered"

This only applies if you work behind a proxy.

However, if you have "No Proxy", leave the "Proxy Server" Settings check box cleared and also disable "Automatically detect settings".

and do not forget to configure "Proxy Setting" in Discovery Preferences / Network to "No Proxy"
