in batch mgt -

defining class (cl02) what dooes the tab status stand for n what is the implication of these

released

in preparation

locked

and what do the three tabs in same 'classification' mean

do not chek

warning message

check with error

what is the signification of authorisation tab

Hi

Status determines:

o whether a class can be maintained

o whether objects can be allocated to a class

o whether the class can be used for selecting objects

Put the cursor on the Tab u wish and click F1 u can get more inputs on this

Its better to go and read the script properly...

Otherwise

CL02 those three tabs means once u start maintaining of Batch of particular class system will keep showing u the status of their operation..

This is just like Trafic light system in Production Support..

In Classification these tabs has major role while u run batch process during delivery system start co relate the Characteristics value of classification with its specifi Class..

As per result system will keep update u and allow to run the process...
