COPA and Product Costing Implementation

Hi Everyone,

We are implementing COPA and Product Costing for the first time in my company.

I have a question, do we have to implement both COPA and PC together or one by one?

If one by one then which one should be implemented first. Please suggest.

Hi,

There is no dependency, but without implementing product costing implementing COPA is of no use.

Best Approach is

Implement - Product Costing thereby COPA or together you can implement.

This is a very super ficial question. It depends on what you want to achieve. Product Costing is a tool in SAP to analyze the internal cost of Material and production related costs. COPA on the other hand helps you to analyze over all profitability by market sgements by extracting data from SD, MM and Production. It depends on what is your requirement to take a call if they should be implemented together or individually.
