In Injection moulding nylon66 is used. During this process nylon66 is injected in the die through the runner. Finished components are produced with runners & some melting scrap. Now, the runners are going to use again by grinding it & it will be injected to manufacture finish component. How to map this scenario in system?
Again, if some finished component is rejected that also is going to use again by grinding & it will be injected to manufacture finish component.
Eq. Material issue- 100 Kg
Finished Comp 90 Ea
Runner 3 Kg
Rejection 5 Kg
Melting Scrap 2 Kg
How to map this scenario in system to reuse 3+5=8 Kg material.
Please give your input.
regards,
Vijay

Hi Vijay,
I assume the materials coming out of production like Rejection, Runner are not constant in quantity / proportion.
so just create the BOM as u have mentioned, for out coming materials Runners, Rejection u can use Goods movement type
262 -- reverse of Goods Issue for production order
OR
531 -- By product
U can give the actual quantities while posting these quantities as per the shop floor records.

Dear,
You create Runner as a semi finish material and consider it as co product(indicator material master). and in BOM of finish material give it as negative qty. After confirmation you can use it to produce finish product through grinding, finishing etc. process.
Now if want rework the rejected material create rework order after confirmation through trigger point with ref operation set.
And if want to give scrap you can maintain it as component scrap, assembly scrap, and operation scarp level.
If you maintain all these three thing i think you will gate your ans.
If you want more details come back
