can some one explain me what is the difference between ABKRS and TARIF feature.
which of the abive feature should be used when?
iam learning SAP HR, so it would be great if someone explains me in detail.

ABKRS: Used to set Payroll area on IT0001.
TARIF: Used to set payscale area and type on IT0008.

ABKRS
Is for defaulting the payroll accounting area means the Employee belongs to which accounting area.
TARIF
Default the payscle type and pay scale area.
Payscle type tell about what kind of industry you are implementing
Pascale area Which area your company is held and doing business

ABKRS feasture is used to default payroll area which u can see in infotype 0001.
Tariff feature is Pay scale type/ pay scale Area which you can see in IT0008.
Pay scale type & pay scale area are part of Pay scale structure.
Transaction code for feature is PE03.

T510G T510H to check the feature PE03
