Change Approver in SC creation

Hi guys.

SRM 4.0, server 5.0, backend ECC 6.0, standalone ITS.

I can't seem to find the logic behind what triggers, if the Change Approver function will give the user either the empty search field or the drop down list of selectable approvers...?

Any idea as to how this is determined?

hi,

this depends on wether you have implemented the BADI BBP_CHNG_AGNT_GET in your system and badi will determine the agents who can be added as approver...

if the badi is implemented , system will show drop down list from where you can select an approver

if the badi is not implemented , system will not show any drop down list , you can search for any approver and add..

this BADI is called in function module --> BBP_WFLH_AGENTS_FOR_CHANGE_GET

please check the above function module and you can see how the system behaves ...

Hi,

Agree with Khan, As per the standard funtionality deliver you can change the approver using by the search as mentioned the above BADI.

If you don't want use that search funtionality you can de-activate straight a way..
