unicode error

hi all,

i am writing code like this.

w_wrbtr type bseg-wrbtr.

w_wrb1(20) type c,

w_sur1(20) type c.

w_wrbtr = w_wrb1 - w_sur1.

it is giving the unicode problem beacause of w_wrbtr (currency field),if i give

w_wrbtr(20) type c,will it work

can i declare currency field type c ,is it ok

Please conform this.

    First let me know what are you exactly stroing in these two fields

    w_wrb1(20) type c,
    w_sur1(20) type c.

    See you can only perform arithmetic operations only when all the data stored in that variables are collection of digits. even you do subtraction you assign it toa Char variable and then convert the char to Currency.
