Not able to execute Query in BEx Netweaver 2004s

Former Member

Hello Experts,

I'm trying to execute query on the web from BEx Netweaver 2004s.

But I get this message:

The page you are looking for might have been removed or had its name changed.

And the wired thing is I don't get host and port number in the address bar.

http:///irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.s...

But when I execute query from BEx 3.x it works.

What settings should I check and make so that it works fine in the new version.

One of the parameter icm/server_port_0 has a timeout limit set to 150.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks All of you but no luck as of now.

While manually adding host and port into the address bar i got this message:

The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:

While following SAP note 947148 I found that we don't have any entry in table RSPOR_T_PORTAL

What entry it should have? The note says that there should be a prefix maintained for your portal.

Hope to solve this problem this weekend and let you all know what all steps i took.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

The URL is taken from the table RSPOR_T_PORTAL. Please check note 947148 which explains this issue.

Janine

Sonu-

Were you able to resolve this issue using the SAP Note 947148? I am going to have to ask the SAP Basis team to look into this note. If not, could you please post something that indicates how you were able to resolve this issue.

Thanks,

Pratik

Just a couple of sense-check questions:

Have you converted the query to 2004s?

Have you tried running the converted query in RSRT?

I'm not able to run the query in RSRT as well and the queries are created in netweaver 2004s so I don't need to convert them.

Hello All,

I was able to find the answer to my problem. Our development system is down and we don't have any local SLD configured on our Production system and for this reason I was not able to execute query on web.

I am facing the similar problem with you.

My situation is, i can execute and get the result on webpage in 3.x after replace the host name as IP in URL. But i get the similar URL in 7.0 as you listed above and i do not know how to figure it out.

The connection is OK after checking SM59 but i can not change the host name to IP address.

I think there should be some place to configure this scenario.
