RFC Error DpRqSlotAllocate under System Load

Dear community,

Our customer has issues with the systems for some time. These issues occurred after the Unicode conversion. With very high loads, the system block occurs. The customer uses Fiori apps that have been running successfully so far. The workload has not changed since the Unicode conversion. In the log file, we found a lot of errors like:

ERROR => DpRqSlotAllocate: too many pending requests[dpxxrq.c 146]

*** WARNING => GwCheckCaBlks: DpClCreateRfcRequestToRead failed[gwdp.c 5605]

We considered the SAP Note 2548006 and changed the Kernel patch from 749/312 to 749/421

SAP_BASIS: 750, SP10, SAPK-75010INSAPBASIS

SAP_ABA: 750, SP10, SAPK-75010INSAPABA

Kernel-Release: 749

Compilation: AIX 1 6 00F79A424

Patch-Level: 421

ABAP-Load: 2217

CUA-Load: 45

Mode: opt

Additionally, we changed the parameter rdisp/elem_per_queue from 2000 to 5000 (see SAP Note 2393769)

Do you have any idea what might be the cause?

Thank you very much for your support.

Kind regards,

Kurt
