call_browser and SSO and note 612670

HI All,

I have a question about FM call_browser. At present our abap programs creates a URL and then calls the BSP using call_browser. However I was looking into SSO and i came across the note 612670. It is about enabling SSO in BSPs. However it says that it will work only if we use SAP GUI HTML Control.

I assume that since we are using call_browser this particular note doesnt satisfy our requirements ?

Can you guide please if this note will work even if we use call_browser ?
