BI Sets and DB2 Connectivity Not Possible

We need some guidance on using BI Sets with our data warehouse which is on DB2. Our current version of SAP BusinessObjects is BI 4.2 SP04. However, for SP04 we understand that BI Sets is not supported for connections to DB2.

For SP04 will a BI Set Container work in a linked universe (connecting to Oracle or HANA) where the core universe connection is to DB2? Can BI Sets use the data from the DB2 tables to populate the BI Sets tables on Oracle/HANA?

Does SP05 now support DB2 connections for BI Sets?

For SP05 is the new Set Container Management parameter for ‘owner’ and ‘qualifier’ compatible for use where the IDT universe is connecting to a DB2 database and the Set Container Management is configured to connect to an Oracle database?”

I have been advised It’s a new feature released in SAP BI 4.2 SP04 called ‘BI Set Analysis’
