VL06I Display Variant

Hi experts, I would like to display a different initial screen Variant when I enter transaction VL06I.

I have set up the screen variant but cannot get my variant to display when running VL06I instead of the SAP&STANDARD.

The reason is that I do not want to display the "For Transport Planning" and "For Distribution" soft keys.

In my variant I do not specify a selection variant against these keys but in SAP&STANDARD I cannot delete the screen selection variant.

Can you do this?

Hi,

The variant of the program is assigned in transaction definition.

In SE93 you can find which program/variant is assigned.

You could do modifiation and change the variant there - not recommended

Instead I would suggest to create custom transaction (ZVL06I) and assign your variant there.
