Configurable Material and configurable component

Hi PP Gurus,

I am trying to setup a configurable material which also contains a configurable component. For the configurable component ive already set a dependency which copies the characteristic value from the mother material. And since the component is in-house produced it has to create a planned order for the material.

My question is, how do i setup the configurable component so that the PLANNED ORDER/PRODUCTION ORDER created for the configurable component will contain the characteristics that were copied from the mother material?

I would very much appreciate if someone can help me..
