cProjects 4.0: Can't find organizational unit in staffing process tab

Hi Guys,

I am using the staffing process in cProjects to staff a particular project role. When I search the org unit in the organizational unit field in Resources > Staffing Process tab, I get no results. I've already created Org Units using transaction PPOME (Change Organization and Staffing). Is this where organizational units for staffing are defined?

I am using the "mini HR" in cProjects and no integration with HR or WFM. Appreciate any help on why I cannot see the org unit in Staffing Process tab.

Thanks,

Lashan

    Hello!

The search help used in the staffing process tab is PRP_SM_ORG_UNIT (SM: I don't remember the name). SM like Staffing Manager. This means that ONLY Organizational Unit with assigned resource as Staffing Manager will appear in the search help.

You can define Staffing Manager in PPOME: select your Org Unit, the swith to Staffing Management view (right click on the Org Unit), create a position and assign a resource. This is a different relashionship as in the structure view (012 for staffing management if I remember well)

    Regards,

    Matthias
