LSOCP 602 installation

I cannot find an installation document for the content player, I looked under ERP 2005 installation and upgrade but instead of manual for the LSOCP component SAP has two copies of the Offline player installation. Is installing it as simple as loading the .SCA file and can I skip patches 00 -002 and just load 003. My portal currently has the LSO200 content player installed, will I need to remove that first. Sorry for the blanket questions but it's tough without any documentation from SAP except the configuration.
