Two issues:

1.When I try to print published report with chart made with Xcelsius 2008 I've got empty background image instead of chart that I can see on screen. Any ideas how to fix it?

2. when I try to print same report from Crystal preview mode, I've got small window form with "csprintdlg" word as form title, yellow exclamation sign and OK button.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Thanks

I'm running Win Server 2003 SP 2 with IIS 6.0.

ASP.NET 2008 Intranet Web Site on that server

Using Crystal Reports Viewer 2008 sp1

If I Browse the Web Site throught IS manager on the server and run the Crystal reports App I can print fine using the ActiveX method. It also runs fine when it's runs on my development machine.

Accessing the Intranet Web Site from a client machine produces the error mentioned. A small dialog box with the yellow exclamation mark with no message and the dialog title "csprintdlg".

I was thinking this is a permissions problem, so I gave "IIS_WPG & NETWORK SERVICE" read access the folder

C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\4.0\crystalreportviewers12 and it's virtual folder name

crystalreportviewers12.

Still can't get it to work. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Thank you

I resolved my issue!

Installed Crystal Reports 2008 SP1 Runtime on the Windows Server.

I previously had included the 2008 SP1 Runtime merge module with my .NET setup package.

The install on the server placed the runtime is as subfolder under the web site folder.

But original runtimes sill resided at "C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\4.0\crystalreportviewers12"

Don't know why it wasn't installed in the "C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\4.0\crystalreportviewers12".

I probably should have pointed to the correct location in my setup configuration!

I had to manually uninstall the previous runtimes through Control Panel and then install the SP1 runtimes with its own setup package

Problem solved!

Thank you

Ron

I'm getting the same error when I try to print from the Crystal Reports Viewer 2008 in ASP.net. Running on the local intranet. I can't find any help on this!
